Lately all I want in my life is LEMONADE.
The freshness, the sweetness, the tartness… ALL OF IT.
But if I were to sip sugary lemonade all day long I’d be sick as a dog.
My pregnancy APP is constantly reminding me how I’m not supposed to diet …and I’m also not supposed to eat sugar. The mixed messages are confusing…regardless I was fairly certain an alternative to the one cup of sugar per liter recipe that I usually make needed to see some alteration.
So here’s what I’ve been making:
Recipe:
1 Lemons worth of juice
2 Packets of stevia (all natural sweetener, no scary chemicals or anything!)
3 Mashed up strawberries
1 Quart water & ice
Directions:
Mix it together and enjoy!
I know it’s not exactly a secret recipe …but it is delicious and practically free of calories and sugar… so I felt that it needed to be shared.
