Clarins Lip Balm Crayons are sheer lip crayons that have the shine of a gloss, the hydration of a balm and the precision of a liner. They give a beautiful hint of shiny colour to the lips and are very hydrating.
If you are after full colour pay off and intense pigmentation then these won’t be for you. In terms of staying power these are okay, but nothing to write home about. They last, but you will have to touch up every couple of hours and after eating or drinking. The shade range is decent and does have a few unique shades however, those who have darker skin may find that because these are quite sheer they won’t show up very well. Overall these didn’t completely blow me away, but I do think they are nice lip crayons for giving a touch of hydrating colour to the lips and I can see myself wearing Creamy Pink over and over again. 01 My Pink is a translucent pink shade with no shimmer that reacts to the pH balance of your lips and gives you a customized shade, for this reason it looks different on everyone.
02 Creamy Pink is a beautiful pigmented creamy pink shade with no shimmer and my favourite shade out of the range. It is the perfect pinky nude and would look best on light skintones.
03 Tender Coral is a sheer coral orange shade with golden shimmer. It would flatter light to medium skintones best.
04 Sweet Cherry is a sheer cherry red shade with no shimmer. It would suit light skintones best.
05 Delicious Plum is a sheer mauvey plum shade with no shimmer, it would suit all skintones, especially light to medium.
06 Soft Coffee is a reddish brown shade with no shimmer. It would suit all skintones.
