Hi Guys! Which nail has the Chanel nail polish...the one on the right or the left?
I have always loved the fabulous nail colors by Chanel, but this was the very first time I bought one! For a steep $27, I was excited to see if there was a difference between Chanel and a drugstore brand, Sally Hansen Hard as Nails, X-Treme.
Although, the colors were very close in shade, Chanel's Vernis 2011 Spring Collection in Black Pearl was absolutely in a league of its own. It's gorgeous and a great neutral color for Spring to go with any wardrobe!!!! It flowed onto my nail much smoother than Sally Hanson's Gun Metal and left a much thicker coat. Maybe the secret is in the brush? The Chanel brush was much shorter and easier to control.
However, Sally Hanson was worthy of its name, X-Treme Wear, by not chipping the entire few days I wore it. Plus, the color was lovely and did give a great shine!
I am not saying you should run right out and replace all your nail polish with Chanel because our little drugstore brand was a great deal at only $5 BUT, there was a beautiful richness and depth to the Chanel color that I just couldn't stop admiring.
