I always look to her beauty and makeup for inspiration and tips, so here are a few beauty and makeup tips that I have learned from the Armanian goddess, that makeup makeup a little easier to achieve! Here are 5 Kim Kardashian Makeup Tips that we have learned from her and her makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli.
SKIN: Get on a skin care regimine! Kim, uses her own signature skin care line, Perfect Skin, along with a low carbohydrate balanced diet and drinks plenty of water to maintain natural clear skin! Additional skin care maintanence such as masks and peels will also help maintain skin smoothness and great firmness and tone. According to Kim’s makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli, Kim uses Aquaphor Ointmint for nightly spor treatments underneath the eyes for extra hydration to prevent wrinkles from forming.
LASHES: You may think that Kim Kardashian wears false lashes, but the reality star claims her lashes are her own! In addition, Lancome’s Hynose and L’Oreal Voluminous mascara are used combined to add as much drama as possible because its all about the eyes! To promote lash growth, I recommend Dior’s Lash Maximizer, that contains soy protein extract, for nutrition and growth. You can use it as a primer before your mascara for extra thickness and length. Or, apply it before you go to bed at night, as a treatment.
*False Eyelash Tip: If you are going to wear false eyelashes for extra glam, Cut the false eyelashes at an angle going inward on the inside part of the lash for a more natural makeup look.
SMOKEY EYES: Smokey Eyes are some of the easiest eyes to achieve. Start with the dark shade on the lid medium shade in the crease and lightest shade under the eyebrow, and blend, blend, blend. CONTOURING AND HIGHLIGHTING: To achieve a perfect contour for extra high cheekbones, Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist, Joyce Bonelli uses a foundation in a darker shade to contour out Kim’s cheeks. Her favorite of choice, is the pro makeup from Ben Nye. Its a foundation that its texture is similuar to a concealer. Joyce recommends, applying it with a brush and then blending it with a sponge.
For more highlight underneath the eyes, opt to add a lighter foundation, as seen in Kim’s Makeup Lesson with Mario, photo above and then blend it out with a sponge, and continue with the regular shade of foundation.
KARDASHIAN KISSABLE LIPS: To keep your lips healthy and more full and prevent lips from wrinkling up, I recommend exfoliating them. Mary Kay Lip Mask ($9) is an excellent product that stimulates collegen, while sloughing off the dead skin cells.
